Sylvia Rivera was a fearless and uncompromising voice for liberation who understood that any struggle for justice that left the most marginalized behind was no struggle at all. A trans Latina street organizer shaped by poverty, racism, and police violence, she helped ignite the modern queer and trans rights movement through her role in the Stonewall uprising and the founding of STAR (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries). Rivera fought not for recognition within existing systems, but for their transformation—demanding housing, safety, and dignity for trans people, sex workers, and the poor. She rejected the politics of respectability and assimilation, insisting that liberation must begin at the bottom, with those who face the sharpest edges of oppression. In life and in legacy, Rivera stands as a reminder that the revolutionary horizon is only meaningful if it is built by and for those most discarded by capitalist, racial, and gendered violence.

Please keep in mind that this is a tiny operation – we're not Amazon (nor do we want to be!) and we don't have our own fleet of drivers, we pay for your shipping through the USPS and have little control over the speed and efficiency of their deliveries, but always will make it right by any of the delivery and shipping mistakes made by the mail carriers.

Making independent art is not without its challenges. It is not cheap, easy, or quick, and it is often not valued in a material sense. However, artists still need to eat and pay rent.

Contemporary art, media and journalistic praxis, and cultural work more broadly are often exploited in building social movements, yet they are often unstable and precarious at best.
