Fidel Castro (11 x 17 poster print)
Fidel Castro was a decisive figure in the global anti-imperialist movement, whose leadership in the Cuban Revolution transformed a small Caribbean island into a symbol of defiance against empire. Through the overthrow of a U.S.-backed dictatorship and the building of a socialist state grounded in healthcare, education, and international solidarity, Castro helped demonstrate that revolutionary transformation was possible, even under siege. He recognized that true sovereignty required breaking from capitalist dependency and placing the needs of the masses—workers, peasants, and students—at the center of governance. Under his leadership, Cuba extended material and moral support to liberation struggles across Africa, Latin America, and beyond, from Angola to South Africa to Palestine. While never without contradictions, Fidel’s unwavering commitment to dismantling colonial hierarchies and redistributing power toward the oppressed secured his place as a towering figure in the long arc of global liberation.

Supporting independent artists cultural workers under capitalism
Making independent art is not without its challenges. It is not cheap, easy, or quick, and it is often not valued in a material sense. However, artists still need to eat and pay rent.
Contemporary art, media and journalistic praxis, and cultural work more broadly are often exploited in building social movements, yet they are often unstable and precarious at best.
This project offers a free library of downloadable zines and other resources, and your support is appreciated! Right now, the project is not yet making enough money to cover the costs of making, printing, and shipping the materials but with your support we'll get there!
