African Liberation Day (11 x 17 Poster print)

$35.15 CAD

African Liberation Day is not a commemoration—it is a continuation. Born from the 1958 All-African Peoples Conference and formally established in 1963 with the founding of the Organization of African Unity, it marks a collective declaration by African nations, movements, and peoples that the era of colonial domination must end and that unity, sovereignty, and socialism are the path forward. It is a day rooted in the struggles of freedom fighters—from Algeria to Angola, from Ghana to Guinea-Bissau—who understood that the liberation of Africa could not be partial, could not be national alone, and could not coexist with imperialist control over land, labor, and life. For Pan-African revolutionaries, African Liberation Day is both a political compass and a call to organize: to confront neocolonialism, deepen ideological clarity, and affirm that the liberation of the continent is inseparable from the global fight to overthrow capitalism and imperialism. It is a reminder that Africa’s future belongs to its people—and that the struggle continues until total liberation is won.
