Grace Lee Boggs (11 x 17 Poster print)
Grace Lee Boggs was a revolutionary grounded in deep love for the people and an unshakable belief in their capacity to transform themselves and the world. Born to Chinese immigrants and shaped by the Black radical traditions of Detroit, she spent over seven decades organizing alongside workers, youth, and grassroots movements to confront the crises of capitalism, racism, and dehumanization. Drawing from Marxist and Hegelian dialectics, Boggs saw revolution not just as the overthrow of systems, but as the transformation of human relationships and values. She rejected rigid dogma in favor of evolving political practice rooted in community, self-determination, and collective care. Through political education, neighborhood organizing, and writing, she helped nurture a new generation of thinkers and organizers committed to building a future beyond exploitation. Her life reminds us that revolution is not only about resistance—it is about creating new ways of being that honor our full humanity and the possibility of a liberated world.
